Salon Iris comes with an easy- to- use built- in backup system. This simplifies the process of backing up your information and helps reduce the chance of client information loss if your computer is damaged.

Versatile:
Put your backup on virtually ANY device: floppy disk(s), Zip disk, hard
drive, tape drive, or network connection.

Compression: Automatic compression is used so your backup is as small as possible. The average compression ratio is 8:1, so a 10 meg database will fit on a single floppy disk! Salon Iris uses true Zip (c) compression. |

|
Disk Spanning: Don't worry if the backup copy of your database is too big to fit on a single floppy disk. Salon Iris will automatically break it up so it can be put on multiple disks. You will be told how many disks are required before the backup begins. |

All important information is placed in your backup file, including the

Automatic reminder: Salon Iris can remind you that it's time to make a backup. You can control the number of days between the reminders. Of course, you can also turn this feature off. |
